Regardless of the version of Apple’s iPad that is selected, installation and deployment remains very similar. Apple products are generally user friendly and intuitive, which is another nice feature when rolling out this new hardware.
Unpack individual iPads. Package and stow away individual iPad docks/chargers.

Plug the six new iPads into six of the docks inside the PowerSync Tray by Bretford. They do not need special wattage for charging. Plug the charger into any standard outlet.
Before use, iPads must be registered and configured through iTunes. Connect the PowerSync Tray to the purchased refurbished Macbook Pro. iTunes will walk through the configuration procedures after it has recognized the new devices.

Remove individual devices from the PowerSync Tray. Check for network access. iPads will automatically detect available networks. Be sure to eject the devices from the Macbook Pro prior to removing them from the tray.
The ISD 191 network will be accessible and should be selected. Enter password retrieved from district administrators.
If the wireless network does not appear, on the iPad select “settings,” then “ wi-fi,” then “191 Wireless,” and enter a password provided by the district.

Use iPads and return to the tray for charging as necessary.
